World Class Instruction
All of our children's classes are taught by our head instructor. Sensei David has over 44 years martial arts experience. A dedicated
professional he was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2021 as Master Martial Arts Instructor of the Year!
He is not only a top karate instructor but a dedicated father as well. His goal in every class is to set each child up for success, not only in the dojo but in life.
Next Step Life Skills Development
Our life skills and character development program is comprised of a
series of rotating monthly themes. Themes include such topics as Focus, Self Discipline, Confidence, Kindness, and Team Work. Each student is required to complete an assignment to earn their NEXTSTEP stripe.
This program is designed to help children stay focused on goals and develop a true feeling of confidence and accomplishment. But more importantly opens up fun and interesting conversations at home.
And it is a powerful tool for parents to learn about their child's
thoughts and creates great bonding opportunities!
Martial Arts Curriculum
Your child will learn a blend of traditional Okinawan Karate and modern martial arts systems including techniques from Boxing, Kick Boxing, Krav Maga, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Wrestling, MMA, and Jui Jitsu.
In addition, we specialize in youth sport karate instruction. Our sport karate curriculum focuses on competition forms, weapons and sparring. Traditional sports are not for every child, but unlike traditional school sports no child ever sits the bench in martial arts!
When paired with our life skills development program our goal is to create resilient, capable, confident young people who can travel through life with grace and poise.
